Wabi-sabi originally originated from Taoism in the Song Dynasty of China and was later introduced into Zen Buddhism. In the Southern Song Dynasty, monk Rongxi brought Zen Buddhism from China to Japan and deeply influenced Japanese culture. Therefore, the philosophy of wabi-sabi was inspired by Taoism and Zen Buddhism, while the state of mind was inspired by the bleak and minimalist atmosphere of Tang and Song poems and ink paintings. Wabi-sabi is very popular at the moment, and we made black and white textures by mixing ancient black clay with white glaze, which is unique and beautiful. The black and white texture also makes the teapot look like a kind of vicissitudes of life full of time. Even if the appearance is mottled, or faded dim, can not stop a shocking beauty.

We also added a little detail. Bamboo designs were added to the handle and teapot lid. The simple appearance of bamboo and the Chinese impression that bamboo is clean and unscrupulous make it very suitable for wabi-sabi. The bamboo design also makes it easier for you to grip the teapot, increasing its practicality.
