- Craftsmanship:
The clay material goes through multiple processes such as weathering, aging, grinding, and kneading. Craftsmen shape and carve details by hand. After the teapot is formed, then fired at a high temperature of about 1100â-1200â to create a sturdy, durable, and breathable purple clay teapot.

- Teapot Maker:
Jiang Jingming, born in 1965 in Yixing, he is a Chinese ceramist and a member of the Chinese Society of Arts and Crafts. Since childhood, he has been deeply influenced by the purple clay culture, and he is very interested in the production of purple clay pots. In 1982, he engaged in pottery creation, and learn ceramic modeling design in the Academy of Arts and Crafts. His teacher is Fan Yongliang, the master of ceramic art in Jiangsu Province. He focus on learning purple clay technology. Under the guidance of famous teachers and his own hard study and hard practice, his craft techniques become higher and more skilled, and his works pursue beautiful shape and smooth lines. In spirit and verve, both inherit the tradition and focus on innovation, it reflecting the elegant temperament and profound cultural heritage. He is good at full handmade, and his works "Lotus Pot", "Love Pot" and "Junzhu Pot" have won the third prize of Yixing Pottery Festival for three consecutive times, and other works have been collected by many museums, and are favored by pot art lovers and collectors at home and abroad.
